EMPRESS EFFECTS SUPERDELAY VINTAGE MOD

The Vintage Modified Superdelay is finished in stunning black with gold script writing and labeling just to make your friends jealous. That’s not the only change though. Empress Effects had the Tape mode refined to give a more vintage feel to the repeats. When you’re in Tape mode there are 3 different types; Basic, Vintage, and Old. We left the Basic mode alone but modified the Vintage and Old modes. In the Vintage Mode (remember, these are all under the Tape setting) they added extra modulation for a rich, full sounding repeat with full frequency response. In the Old Mode they kept the same modulation but rolled off the high end by 15% and added some grit to emulate a tape delay with worn heads, old tape, and a bit of flutter. Both these new settings sound true to the tape delay legacy and give the Empress Vintage Modified Superdelay more versatility than before! There are no other mods to the original Superdelay circuit.

The Empress Superdelay isn't your basic delay. Sure it does basic delay sounds, and it sounds better than anything else out there while doing them. Power Requirements:
The Empress Superdelay does not run off of batteries. It comes with a power supply. The Empress Superdelay requires 300mA, positive tip, 9 to 12 VDC. You can power the Empress Superdelay from outputs 5 or 6 of the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+. You'll need to use the red barrel connector. You must set the corresponding DIP switch away from the NORMAL position. Also, since the Superdelay requires nearly 300mA, you should only use the other output for a much lower current pedal.
