AMT ELECTRONICS TUBE PLATINUM.
Satriani and Vai 7-String tone! Tube Platinum is a tube driven valve distortion
with deep over-amplification effect. It is designed for the player who
prefers a dense saturated sound produced by a valve working in strong
limitation mode. Even at high over-amplification level the valve
limiter used in Tube Platinum does not suppress the signal dynamics,
which results in wide and bright sound. A favorite pedal with
instrumental lead guitarists that want the best sound. Equipped with
Low, High, and Distortion knobs for custom tone control. All AMT pedals
are designed to sound equally as good through an amp or direct recorded
due to built-in cabinet emulation circuitry. Perfect for live
performance and in the studio. You must try one to believe it. The
first time you plug one in, you will be instantly addicted to the "AMT
Tone".

Overall Rating: 10Immediately
after recording my first solo with an AMT Combo emulator, I discovered
the satisfaction from the soft and pleasant tone - the rich middles,
clear highs and articulated lows. it might sound blind, but it is a
proven truth. It was the first time ever that I didn't have to use an
equalizer! The
whole advantage from AMT is the freedom of work. Extremely classy sound
for people who can't dub guitar amps with a microphone like me.
It is great distortion, and now I'm very happy with my guitar sound!

- Can you get the sound of your favorite artists? Who are they?
- Are certain effects (distortion, chorus, ...) very good? Very bad?
- What setup (i.e. what guitars and amps) are you using this with?
- Is it noisy? On what settings?
- Are the effects weak or do they always sound great?
- What amp are you using it with?
My guitar setup is easily accessible for every guitar player who wishes
to improve his sound. With time I concentrated on my own compositions
and now I am working exclusively in my home studio, which is based on
software and minimum hardware. Even at high over-amplification level the valve limiter used in Tube
Platinum does not suppress completely the signal dynamics which results
in wide and bright sound. This is a device that helps me record the
strongest levels of the guitar possible, in order to avoid the
unnecessary noise.
